Writing Workshop - Part 1

This presentation is the first in a two-part series, designed to help home educators develop a preliminary understanding of how to support students with developing basic functional skills for written output. Home educators will be introduced to the complex skills that support writing from a motor, speech and language perspective. This session is designed to explore why writing can be difficult for many different students, and what key underlying cognitive and motor components can be worked on to support written output, with some activity suggestions to enable development of these skills.
